Personal Project
The Personal Project is an attempt by Imagine the Impact to help students unleash
the abilities and passions that God has given them. It has been proven that one of the most
significant ways that leaders grow is through being given opportunities to lead that are beyond
their current leadership capacity. Students will be guided through a process that will prepare
them to seek God for an area of need, develop a plan to meet that need through their local church,
and take steps to implement the plan. A software program entitled Dream Launch will be accessed
and provided for each student. Dream Launch walks students through the steps of launching a dream
to make a difference for God. The Personal Project and progress toward carrying out the Personal
Projec
t will be discussed with the mentor throughout the Imagine the Impact experience.
Students in public school settings are encouraged to take the initiative to find out how their project can meet the requirements
that their school district has designed for their graduation project. Each student will prepare an
oral presentation to highlight their Personal Project for the other members of their
Imagine the Impact peer group.
